Experience Park Nordica
At Park Nordica, everything starts with the animals. Join the keepers on a feeding round and get closer to wolves, bears, lynx, wolverines, moose and reindeer. You will hear their stories, learn what makes each animal different and have a better chance of spotting them when they are most active.

For younger visitors, Children’s Park Nordica brings smaller animals within reach. Sheep, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs and birds are all part of the experience.
Beyond the animal areas, you can climb high above the ground in the climbing tower, fly across the park on one of Norway’s longest ziplines and watch for wild birds around the pond at the heart of the park.
Park Nordica is still growing. New experiences are on the way, shaped by the animals, the landscape and the wild nature around us.
Keeper-led feeding rounds
This is where many of the best animal moments happen.
Follow the keepers through the park as they feed the animals and share what they know. You might see a wolverine climb, a lynx appear between the trees or a bear wake up for food.
Along the way, you will learn how the animals live, what they eat and how the keepers care for them every day.
The feeding rounds also give you a better chance of seeing the animals. Many of them are most active around feeding time.
Feeding rounds start at
- Small predators: 11:30
- Large predators: 12:30
- Reindeer, moose and deer: 14:00
Join the full round, or hop on and off along the way.

Children’s Park Nordica
Children’s Park Nordica is full of small moments children remember. Goats climbing where they probably should not. Rabbits darting past. Guinea pigs chattering. Peacocks showing off. And a miniature pig hoping someone has brought a snack.
Here, children can meet the park’s smaller animals up close and discover how much personality they have. Some are curious and love attention. Some are calm and gentle. Others prefer to be admired from a little distance.

Zipline: Are you brave enough?
Park Nordica is home to one of Norway’s longest ziplines. It sends you flying over the park with forest, water and wilderness below.
It is fast, high and not for everyone. But if you are brave enough, it might be the view you remember best.
Climbing tower
The climbing tower is for anyone who wants to get a little higher. Children and adults can climb, balance and feel their stomach drop just a little on the way up.
At the top, you get a beautiful view over the park and the quiet satisfaction of making it all the way.
Wild birds in the park
Not every animal at Park Nordica lives in an enclosure.
Wild birds nest throughout the summer in the large pond at the heart of the park. Among them is the horned grebe, a threatened species that returns to the area year after year.
You may also see eagles and other birds of prey moving through the landscape around the park.
More experiences are coming
Park Nordica is still developing. We are creating new ways for visitors to get closer to the animals, nature and stories of the Nordic wilderness.
Next time you visit, there may be something new waiting for you.
